K 2019 Düsseldorf: the top trade fair for plastics, Frilvam is present and willing!
THE FAIR
Fair K 2019 is the top international trade fair for plastics and rubber and is held in Düsseldorf, Germany. There are over 3000 exhibitors. Therefore, to consider it a mere fair would be an understatement: rather, it represents a true platform; a place where, in addition to displaying the entire range of products, it’s possible to make new contacts and conduct international business.
WHERE AND WHO
From 16 to 23 October at Messe Düsseldorf, one of the largest exhibition centres in Germany. Just to put things into perspective, the facility has a workforce of 1,459 employees and an overall exhibition area of 306,000 m². The best way to get there from Italy is by plane. Indeed, the airport is the third largest in Germany and offers various connections to Milan and Rome. Once there, an excellent train service connects the airport to the city, which is only about 15 kilometres away. Alternatively, you can also decide to get there by car: Milan is about 800 kilometres from Düsseldorf.

The location is close to the bridge over the Rhine Theodor-Heuss-Brücke and allows you to get to the city centre by foot. The Fair is approximately 2.3 km away.
Altstadt (Old Town)
Museums, attractions, churches… Düsseldorf has plenty to offer if you wish to play the tourist during the days of the Fair. However, if you have to choose just the one thing to see, we recommend you focus on the famous city district of Altstadt: a square kilometre characterized by typical and historical buildings, featuring a succession of establishments of all kinds. This is the main place in which to experience the cosmopolitan DNA of the city: open to the world, without sacrificing its traditions.
